Project Brief
Seeking a revival of the riverfront a plot of land has been set for development as a community center. The center should connect the city and riverfront and serve as catalyst for the area. The program for the building needed to be adaptable.

Project Description
The building's form was derived from a motif and symbol of Kansas City, the railroad track. Similar to how like tracks connect people, the building will connect the City Market with the riverfront. Inside the building a versatile theater allows for indoor and outdoor performances, while directing pedestrians down to the riverfront.
